Please refer to that announcement for details on open period, eligibility, and how to apply.This position is located in the Department of the Treasury, Executive Office for Asset Forfeiture (EOAF) which is responsible for managing the Treasury Forfeiture Fund (TFF) that is comprised of forfeiture deposits made by participating Treasury and Homeland Security law enforcement agencies.

The incumbent serves as an analyst responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis of all aspects of the asset forfeiture program for the purpose of enhancing its efficiency and ensuring the most effective uses of the TFF funds.



Qualifications


You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.Specialized experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.

Specialized experience for this position includes ALL of the following: Experience independently producing written analytical products related to law enforcement policy or other public policy issues, containing specific recommendations; ANDExperience performing analysis of technical issues such as forfeiture investigations for the purpose of projecting forfeiture revenue and liabilities, based on various factors such as the type of seizure and related violations, plea agreements, anticipated financial victims claims, equitable sharing, issues involving foreign countries, forfeited properties sale proceeds and costs, various procedural deadlines, and issues involving sequestration and apportionment; ANDExperience performing evaluation of funding requests and funded initiatives such as those related to law enforcement, including their impact on law enforcement priorities and the forfeiture program, consistency with existing policies and strategies, operational feasibility, implementation milestones and costs; AND Experience formulating funding strategies for areas such as law enforcement priority areas; ANDExperience analyzing money laundering typologies such as Third Party Money Laundering and money laundering related law enforcement strategies and resource needs; AND Experience developing policies or analytical products for programs such as the forfeiture program.Specialized experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
